You may be organising a fundraising event, asking for donations rather than cutlery and a dinner service for your wedding, or even shaving your hair off. Whatever your fundraising idea [link to fundraising ideas], set up your HopeBuilder personal fundraising page to encourage your friends and colleagues to help you build a Habitat for Humanity house.

As they give, watch your house get built online, right before your eyes. Your supporters will see the progress too after they’ve made their donation. You can even choose which region of the world you want to support.* The minimum target amount is the cost of a typical Habitat house – £1,235.

It’s simple to set up and you’ll have your own account area so you can log in and update the page, create new appeals and email your friends about your page. You can personalise the page with a message to your friends and colleagues and a photo of yourself. Your friends can donate online by credit or debit card through secure WorldPay pages. We’ll also update you and your supporters by email as the house progresses and when it is complete.

Whilst you can choose a destination for your HopeBuilders gifts it may sometimes be necessary (e.g. at times of natural disaster) to divert the money to where the need is greatest.
